I believe in being a contributing member of this organization because it connects me to a national design community who can keep me accountable to responsible business practices and inform me about how the ever changing workings of this world effect how I serve you. Miller Interior Design is a member of the United States Green Building Council [www.USGBC.org] because we are committed to designing beautiful spaces sustainably. In 1993, I stepped out of the University of Kentucky [http://www.uky.edu/design/] with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Housing and Interior Design. Rich with history, Lexington, Kentucky is a veritable museum of quintessential American residential architecture from the log cabin to today. Studying design there in an accredited 4-year program prepared me for designing well for any kind of style in any home anywhere in the US and abroad. I chose residential design as my primary discipline because I love working with people in their personal spaces. My own experience living in a pleasantly small space with my stunning wife has taught me that carefully and lovingly crafting a beautiful place to rejuvenate makes the stuff of life immeasurably easier to endure. I love more than just about anything to share with you the pleasure and joy good design has given me. The personal approach and inspiring creativity of celebrating residential spaces allows me to be an out-of-the-box thinker for your boutique commercial projects.
