Interior designers work their magic by curating a collection of artisans, craftsmen, and trades people they can trust to help make their designs come alive. This past weekend we lost an amazing craftsman and dear friend, Daniel Uchytil. If you have worked with LeeAnn Baker Interiors in the past (or many other local designers), you likely have, or have had, a piece of furniture or whole house of cabinetry made by Dan. Dan was amazingly talented and had the ability to relate to and be liked by everyone. I am so grateful I got to call him friend. Godspeed, Dan. You will be missed beyond measure. 🙏

I’ve said it before, and it is worth saying again…laundry rooms shouldn’t be overlooked when designing a home. So often I hear clients say, “Nobody will see it but me.” Having a fully functional and well designed laundry room can change the way you and your family feel about getting chores done.

The Seattle sunshine peeking through today is beginning to ease my case of the Mondays. ☀️

Yeah! It’s the first day of spring. 🌷 🌳 🪴 Here in the PNW, that really just means months more of rain, but I can’t help but get excited for the longer brighter days to come! ☀️
