Treated myself to a float last night. After an amazing week in Vegas at the convention center with thousands of my peers, being surrounded by lights, noise and energy, truly unplugging for a few days is necessary for this sensitive introvert.

I spent an hour floating in a cocoon from the world. With no sensory input. Allowing myself to just be with myself. Letting my thoughts unravel. I didn't try to force meditation or prayers or mantras.

I thought for sure I wouldn't last the entire 60 minutes, and I thought for sure that I would fall asleep.

It's fascinating to me how time works, sometimes quickly, sometimes slowly.








Empty middle seat for the flight home! Fabulous time at the show! Can't wait to catch up on sleep and post more photos....

I've learned my lesson over the years! I'm attending the NKBA Gala before the big show tomorrow. Save the feet at all costs! I put the sparkles on once I finally arrived at the event location. If you've ever tried to get around in Vegas you know just how much walking is involved.
