A beautiful bathroom starts long before the pretty finishes.

We take the time to get the function right which gives us the freedom to make more thoughtful choices. Tile, wallcoverings and fixtures are all of those details that give a room personality. Bathroom design doesn't need to be rushed. The best results come from giving both function and aesthetics the attention they deserve.

Dad won't use his cell phone or text me and his emails are in all caps, but he's always up for a selfie. I was able to see him for an early Father's Day hug. Now I'm late with this post, but with all the love, Happy Father's Day!

Progress pics of texture and pattern for a color loving Client. The layers make the difference in making this new build house feel like a home. Impactful, no?

It's prime time in the PNW! Get outside this weekend and touch grass or at least flowers. 🌼 I loved my recent visit to the for an inspiring and calming afternoon. Look at the bark on that tree, an amazing pattern. Impressed with the variety of species growing and the layered dense gardens.

Spring is here! Open those doors and be ready for guests. Working with this client was such an inspiration as she was focused on creating cozy spaces for her and her family to gather. 💓 We added the built-in bench at the entry adding storage and who could resist that wallpaper?

Delivery day for a Seattle project. It's been wonderful getting to work with clients that I was fortunate to have met through the Seattle Design Center, Find a Designer Program. Soft water hues were the goal to blend with surrounding views.

I spent a lot of time with my Nanna growing up, at my grandparents house after school and summers (even though these pictures were taken at my parents apartment). Always stylish and with her hair done, she was a hairdresser at Max Factor in Hollywood after all. She passed away a few years before Annabella was born. I think nugget was born with her hairdo. What do you think?

Classic styling with inset painted cabinets allows them to stand the test of time. Mixing finishes adds character and taking cabinets to the ceiling is almost always a must. If you feel like a refresh years down the road, hardware and fixtures are easy to switch out years down the road.
