For JMA Principal Katerina Prochaska, soccer has been part of life since childhood.

“Soccer, fotbal, or kopanou in my family, was and is one of the main sports of my childhood to today. My dad brought his love for the game from Czechia, brought us up in it, and coached youth soccer locally. I started around age 11, usually playing right or left midfield.

I LOVE THIS GAME. Don’t ask me for stats or my favorite player or team. I just enjoy watching games unfold, usually favor the underdog, supporting our local teams, and still enjoy kicking the ball around with my family.”

Another reminder that soccer has a way of connecting people across teams, families and communities. And yes, she was in Seattle for the knockout round and Belgium’s big comeback!

A new Seattle landmark has arrived at Pier 57!

Jackson | Main Architecture is proud to have supported the design of the new SEATTLE monument at Miners Landing - a public gathering place created to celebrate the city as Seattle prepares to welcome visitors from around the world for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

The monument features original Indigenous artwork by John Smith, a member of the Skokomish Tribe, with fabrication and installation completed by National Sign.

We’re honored to have played a role in helping bring this community-focused project to life, alongside John Smith, National Sign and the Miners Landing team.

Happy Pride Month from all of us at Jackson | Main Architecture!

At JMA, Equity is one of our C.R.E.A.T.E.S. values and an important part of how we approach our work, our relationships and the communities we serve. We believe good design should support spaces that are welcoming, accessible, respectful and responsive to the people who use them.

Outdoor interactive arts installation featuring artwork, live events, flash tattoos and the debut of a new large-scale Hot Rat mosaic.
