Running a small business is about so much more than the things we build or sell.
Over the years, so many of our customers have become friends…people whose stories we’ve shared, whose homes we’ve been honored to work in, and whose lives have touched ours in ways they may never have realized.
We recently learned of the passing of one of our favorite customers. We had the privilege of creating several pieces for him and his family, but what we’ll remember most isn’t the projects….it was his kindness, his warmth, and the genuine conversations we shared.
Moments like this remind us that behind every custom order, every visit to the shop, and every handshake (or hug) is a relationship. Those connections are what make being a small business so meaningful.
To his family, we’re keeping you in our thoughts. Thank you for sharing such a wonderful person with us. He will be deeply missed and fondly remembered.
