Join Shine On at Cottonwood THIS WEEKEND to make a beautiful stained glass quilt square, Ghost or Sunflower! We will pre-cut the pieces and you will foil, solder and patina (optional) your projects.

Choose your quilt square color when purchasing your ticket. The quilt square is approximately 9” x 9”.
The sunflower is approximately 10” x 6”.
The ghost is approximately 8” x 5.5”.

Our maker’s space is open if you want to come in and sew, knit, crochet or just color in a coloring book! We’ve been putting football on lately at the cutting area on Sundays. Cottonwood is turning 2!
On October 12, 2026 Cottonwood turns 2!

What an amazing journey we’ve had since opening our doors as a new shop almost two years ago. DJ and I have had this dream of opening a shop featuring our favorite things (quilting, arts, crafts, and antiques) for quite some time. But life always felt so busy. Building a family, careers, and trying to open a business seemed overwhelming and unrealistic.

In 2024, we decided to finally take the plunge, as we saw a void in our area for a shop like Cottonwood! And with help from so many friends and family, we built the store from the ground up! And what an amazing community we have built. It’s been a life-changing experience to start this business, build this community and see people creating, making friends, and learning skills!

We are planning to celebrate on the 12th by giving 10% of our proceeds to three great organizations:

🧡Serving People Across Neighborhoods
🧡 Armed Services Arts Partnership

Just a quick PSA about a few things people have asked for and we now have: sewing machine rentals (Juki TL-18 straight stitch for those heavy duty projects! And the Juki HZL F300 for piecing!), FELT on bolts for those Halloween, Christmas, Kwanzaa, Hanukkah, kid-related, anything-you-wanna-make projects, AND more colors of aged muslin!

You can rent the machines for $10 an hour! You can also sign up for our longarm intro classes and rent our longarms—q-matic and freemotion.
