The Quilts of Valor group Sewing Stars were hard at work on Sunday at Cottonwood! They meet on the first Sunday of every month and welcome new members! If you’re interested in making quilts for the comfort of those who have served our country, come to the next gathering!

What’s new as we start this week and enter September??

We have some special edition Kaffe Fasset one-yard precuts added to our Kaffe Collective section!

Some fun new kits for pot holder looms, weaving, and also simple needlepoint coaster kits have arrived! Kid and beginner friendly! Remember making pot holders “back in the day”? They’re back!!

And congrats to Sasha for finishing her first quilt, including the quilting!! Looks great! Can’t wait to see the next one!

Those who know us know that our passion for fabric is second to none other than our sense of humor! So, yes, we have beautiful Liberty of London fabrics and amazing cotton lawns by Kaffe Fassett light and airy enough for a beautiful dress…but we also have fun and quirky fabrics from Japan featuring cats in bandanas and dogs eating sushi and bears holding umbrellas! It’s all about balance! 😉

Lots of new fabrics this week! This is just a little snack to bite off and chew! Come feast your eyes on all of it in the shop or online!
