The process vs. the progress. 🌸

The last slide is the finished look, but Peg is a perfectionist, so sometimes I have to physically drag her away just to get the photo! 😂

Perfection takes time, people. And apparently, a little intervention.

Flowers sourced from BW Wholesale Florist and PFX - Pittsburgh Flower Exchange

A love letter to dahlias. 🌸

As dahlia season comes to a close, I couldn’t let it pass without sharing a few of these beauties. From soft blush and creamy whites to rich burgundies and the most unexpected shades of pink and coral, dahlias have a way of stealing the show.

Some grown right in my own cutting garden, others from my wonderful growers PFX - Pittsburgh Flower Exchange , but every one a reminder of just how extraordinary flowers can be.

Until next season, dahlias. You were a dream. 🌸
