In my book, green is the ultimate neutral. It’s chic, plays well with other colors, and feels rich but not heavy.

While this room isn’t ’s 2027 Color of the Year pick, ‘Grounded’ (it’s Hunter Green by Benjamin Moore), it offers a similar sophistication. Thanks domino and Kelly Allen for including me in your story! 💚

Our Willard Beach project may have an unsuspecting exterior, but it packs a colorful punch on the inside. Coastal, but not kitschy.

Pool house blues. 🩵 As summer winds down, I find myself revisting projects that feel like warmer days.

In this Pennsylvania pool house, our goal was to marry hardworking materials with playful pops for a space that looks as good as it functions.

Practical elements like performance fabrics, plenty of storage, and simple white tiling add livability against more stylish elements, like an Élitis and bright blue accents.

More from our Portland project, which was recently featured in Better Homes & Gardens. As a beach house, our client wanted a space that felt vibrant and coastal, without leaning into the expected blue hues and nautical motifs. Instead, we leaned into laid back joy, with yellow tiles in the kitchen and white cabinetry and countertops to help them shine—a perfect pairing for our client who loves color, but also has a sense of restraint.
