A sparkling Star

My stars normally don't come with the spike on the bottom as they sit fine on a mantle or shelf without any anchor. The spike allows you to put them in a yard or as a decoration on a grave.

The stars are very sturdy and come in three standard sizes, 15.5 inches, 14 inches, and 13 inches. (Sizes are approximate) The pictured star is painted with silver glitter paint so that it sparkles. I currently finish them in gold and ceder stained as well. I am experimenting with other finishes to try to bring down the price.

We met Melanie Fetterolf of Painting Your World Studio today at the Seymour Farmers Market. She is a gifted artist and will soon be opening her studio in Seymour on Macon Ln. She will be teaching painting, basketry and other fine arts when open. Be sure to like her page!

Here at Smokey Mountain Craftworks we love books and reading. Making books available in our small community seemed to us a good way to give back to the folks who are such good neighbors.

In light of this, we built and installed a little library in the corner of our yard.. We produce several standard models of the Little Library that you can purchase and install in your own yards.

All orders are custom and may take about two weeks to complete. Color, roofing, signage, and style can be specified. Occasionally we will create one or more to have on hand. When this happens we will post them here.

What do you think of these Personal mini-charcuterie plates? I dreamed about them one night and woke the next morning and designed and made them. I am taking a certain amount of fire from friends, but I think if you had sets of 4-6 of them they would be an interesting addition to the fancy party scene.
