ONE YEAR OF DUGAZON!

What a celebration! Friends new and old, neighbors, favorite brands, delicious food, cheese straws, flowers, laughter, conversations and, most of all, hospitality — all the ingredients that make DUGAZON what it is.

We feel incredibly lucky and keep pinching ourselves that we get to do this. Thank you to everyone who came to celebrate and to all of you who have supported us, shopped with us, visited, shared a story and cheered us on this past year.

Special thank you to Studio Carta DBO HOME for hosting our celebration with us and we are thrilled to now be selling Studio Carta in the shop. Yay!

We are now Producers… and thrilled to be producing with our friend Pete Hathaway this very special, one-night-only performance of Charles Busch’s The Divine Sister at the Sharon Playhouse!

Friday, August 28 at 7pm — Charles reunites with members of the original Off-Broadway cast for this wildly witty, wonderfully irreverent comedy — a hilarious homage to classic Hollywood films about nuns, complete with mysterious visitors, forbidden romance, shocking revelations and some very outrageous miracles!

And the night before, Thursday, August 27, join us for A Divine Celebration at Pete Hathaway’s home to kick off the festivities.

We cannot believe it’s been a year. In so many ways, DUGAZON has been 30 years in the making - a lifetime of collecting, cooking, entertaining, traveling, gathering and dreaming. And somehow, we did it. Together.

To our families and friends who believed in us from the beginning - and to all of you who have stopped by, shopped, visited, discovered, shared stories, brought friends and made DUGAZON part of your lives - thank you. We are just getting started!

Our gratitude is endless.

THE ART OF THE SMASH BURGER

Sometimes the simplest things are the ones we crave most.

For us, it’s the Smash Burger — crispy edges, juicy center, melted cheese and all the classic fixings on a soft potato bun. Nothing fancy, just really really good.

A hot grill, cold drinks, burgers coming off one after another, and family and friends gathered around the table. Summertime at its best.

We’re sharing our recipe on the DUGAZON Blog and in this month’s What’s Cooking at DUGAZON in The Lakeville Journal.
