One of my favorite steps after initial sanding, you soak the wood in water so the wood fibers raise and then you can knock them down again with more sanding. This leaves the boards super smooth, and gives you a glimpse at what the finished colors will look like!

Custom board and matching coasters in the making for Buckles and Barrels for Bailey. These are going to be in the silent auction and feature Curly Cherry as the main wood, with accents of Hard Maple, and Walnut! The coasters are going to have our horseshoe coaster holder with a Curly Cherry base as well!

Sneak peek of a noodle board/ stove cover I’m working on! This is pine that was stained with minwax special walnut and some sweet hammered copper handles. Pine was chosen for the wood because this is for decoration only and no contact with food.
