Violet!!!
This beauty went home over the weekend. To the Brauer family, amazing people. I think this is the 4 th piece i’ve done for them. Violet is a beautiful, super unique piece with rich history. She was built in 1908 and has absolutely seen some life. While stripping her down, I discovered under the yellow, she was baby blue and under the blue was a pistachio green. Although she is now an amazing deep green, The name Violet is after Dawn’s grandmother and original owner. When Dawn was child it held Violet’s china, she loved to dust the dishes as a little girl.
Violet is painted and sealed with fusionmineralpaint , pressed fern.
Wood tops, shelves and legs all stain with coffee gel stain and sealed with oil poly. New complimenting paper and hardware to finish her fancy new look. Violet is ready for her next act.
