A family home reborn, built for future generations to enjoy.

The design process began with listening to our clients: what this home meant to their family, what they wanted to preserve, and how they imagined enjoying it for years to come.

Together, we brought that vision to life, revitalizing and reusing original beams and flooring to carry the warmth of this 200-year-old homestead into its next chapter. Our clients were a meaningful part of that process, and sharing it with them made the work especially rewarding.

One of the things we love most about this Berkshire Magazine feature is that it celebrates so much more than just the Firehouse. ❤️

It really shines a light on this whole little corner of Western Massachusetts and just how much there is to see and do here.

You can spend the morning wandering around Shelburne Falls, walk across the Bridge of Flowers, check out our shops and galleries, grab something great to eat, and then be at Berkshire East Mountain Resort in about 15 minutes for skiing, mountain biking, ziplining, the mountain coaster, or whatever kind of adventure you’re up for.

And that’s what we love so much about this area. You have Shelburne Falls, Charlemont, Berkshire East, the Deerfield River, the mountains, great food, small businesses, and so many really cool things happening, all within minutes of each other.

Jay and I both grew up here and have lived the majority of our lives here, so this area really is home to us. We’ve watched it grow and change over the years, and we feel really lucky to now be a small part of what’s happening here. Seeing this whole area get this kind of attention and having the Firehouse included in it means so much to us. ❤️

Come for the mountains. Wander the village. See why we love it here. ❤️

Last day of school for Owen and the “boys” — Levi and Logan!
Bittersweet doesn’t even begin to cover it.

Proud doesn’t feel big enough, and this mama heart is feeling everything all at once — joy, nostalgia, excitement, and maybe a tear or two.

You’ve grown in ways I could never have imagined.

This beauty (The Shelby Project) is coming back around after being completely gutted down to the studs. We found room to raise the ceilings, added a new window layout to let in more light, went from compartmentalized living to open concept living, we transformed the back porch into bright beautiful living space, the new expansive kitchen area has a view to remember, and the master bedroom suite feels like it's a retreat.
