I was a little too relaxed with my pest treatments this winter and this is what happens. Have been planning on repotting this Schefflera as soon as it got nice and warm anyways but when I checked the interlocked weaved and wrapped roots I found an extra surprise. Root Aphids or root mealy bugs everywhere!!!!!!!!!! Guess nature has a way of forcing you to do what you should have already done lol. Root soak in insecticidal soap mixture, insecticidal soap bath for the top and a fresh clean new set of shoes!!!!!

I do have to say,……..What a beautiful combination 😍 Some shade and humidity and with a little luck it will all be worth it.
