Working on some mortise and tenon carving mallets. The hickory is somewhat difficult to work with because of the knots and very smelly. I told my son to smell it and it reminded him of his Grammys house, she has cows. The walnut mallet heads are being used as mallets already.

Iron and red oak bench restoration. Found this on my porch when I moved in. Major stability upgrade 😉 I routed it over the weekend, what a mess… and now I’m procrastinating sanding ugh…. I’ll finish it with h**p oil and flat black hardware.
