Just a reminder that our first auction is now online featuring a portion of the remaining items from our shop. This auction will start closing at 7:00 PM on February 18th. The 2nd auction is slated to begin within the next 2 weeks as well.

We have two great auction companies, Burgess Auctions LLC and Heimel Auctions who have partnered to bring you the best online experience. Through good pictures and item descriptions, you will be able to make just the right choices!

As mentioned during our retirement closing sale, any items not sold, would be put up for auction. We are excited to say the first auction should go live online sometime next week. The company handling the main part of this consignment will be Burgess Auctions out of Knightstown, Indiana. Be sure to check their website for full details at burgessauctions.com

We had many items in storage that will be presented in a 2nd auction to be announced by Burgess soon after the close of the first sale!

There were items also consigned to Heimel Auction in Beech Grove, Indiana, some of which will sell in their Antique auction on Saturday, March 22nd. Make sure to follow their website for those details as well at heimelauctions.com

We are extremely grateful to both of these experienced businesses for their support in helping us sell the reminder of our inventory!

Today marks the final day of our business operations. We extend our deepest gratitude for your unwavering support and for being an integral part of our journey over the past few years.

Owning a small business has presented numerous challenges, particularly in terms of staffing, economic fluctuations, and providing a desirable product. We have been incredibly fortunate to have an exceptional team (both past and present), to secure affordable inventory, and to present these items in a way that has appealed to our customers.

While today is undoubtedly emotional, we look forward to the next chapter of our lives, which will involve spending more time with our family and some extensive travels.

We are confident that we will see many of you at local businesses and, of course, while dining at The Chicken Inn which remains close to our hearts.

We hope you can visit us today and share in this moment.

Next week, we will announce how the remaining unsold inventory will be offered through our Retirement Auctions. Given my tendency to purchase in abundance, it will likely require two significant sales to liquidate everything.

Good evening. We wanted to share a few items that we just added to our showroom. There are a lot of great items remaining. Come see us and get those items you’ve been wanting. Friday January 31st is our last day!

We have 3 days remaining until we close our shop. These past several days have been so heartwarming with many of you just stopping by to extend your best wishes for our retirement and express your sadness in our closing. It is quite bittersweet, and we will definitely miss you all.

With that being said, we are continuing to set many new items out that we've had in storage and are offering some great discounts to show our appreciation. We hope you can stop in take advantage of these savings.

We have shared with most who have stopped in but will be making an announcement in the next few days as to what we will do with all remaining inventory.
