JOB OPPORTUNITY!!!
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounting Assistant to join our team! This role provides vital support in maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and assisting with various accounting functions including accounts payable, accounts receivable and payroll.
Duties
Accurately process invoices and purchase orders
Communicate effectively with vendors and internal teams
Help with weekly vendor checks and filing all paperwork
Accurately process customer invoices and communicate with customers
Process receipts from customers and reconcile accounts at month end
Process weekly time reports, generate biweekly payroll checks and communicate with employees
Maintain accurate vacation balances for employees
Make required withholding payments and assist with quarterly reports and W-2's
Support accounting related tasks and special projects as assigned
Qualification and Skills
Associate's degree in accounting or 2-3 years of experience preferred
Good understanding of accounting debits and credits
Excellent attention to detail
Experience with Sage Accounting system or similar system
