🏛️ WHEN ARCHITECTURE BECOMES ART. ✨

Yesterday we explored the iconic New York Public Library, and as an interior designer, I was completely captivated.

Completed in 1911 for approximately $9 million, this Beaux-Arts masterpiece is a celebration of craftsmanship, artistry, and timeless design.

The soaring marble columns, intricate carvings, magnificent ceilings, rich woodwork, and breathtaking architectural details… every inch tells a story.

I could have spent DAYS here studying the details and imagining the vision, talent, and craftsmanship behind it all.

And to think, this was built over 115 years ago! Imagine the cost of recreating something this extraordinary today.

This is why I love design. Trends come and go, but truly exceptional design is timeless. 🤍

A little NYC getaway with my favorite person! 🥂🗽❤️

Broadway laughs at The Book of Mormon, fabulous food, cocktails, a little speakeasy jazz, and of course… some retail therapy. 🛍️🍸🎶

Good times, great memories, and a little Gucci never hurt anybody! 😉✨

NYC, you never disappoint! ❤️

House of Char, off duty. 🥂 A little NYC, a little rooftop w**e, and a lot of design inspiration at RH. The boutique gets a day off… the designer’s eye never does. 😉✨
