Oh hi 👋🏻 Meet the newest member of our family: Charlotte “Coco” Alysse Starr Alfano 🤎🐾
She’s an 11-week-old Chocolate Lab × Australian Shepherd mix, and was a COMPLETE surprise for Max given how quickly everything came together.
After losing our nearly 16-year-old goodest boy Bruno back in October, we knew we’d need time before welcoming another dog. We weren’t looking, but some things are just meant to be and how could we pass her up?!
A friend met Coco the day after New England Lab Rescue brought her & her siblings up from Georgia, and just five days later we had gone from inquiring to applying to getting approved to bringing her home!
She’s already proving to be the sweetest, cuddliest little pup, with a knack for digging, bone-hiding, and showing us the meaning of literal puppy eyes with those green beauties 👀💚
Anyone have an Aussiedor? Give us all the tips!
Welcome home, Coco.
Core memory unlocked. Can’t believe we kept it from her.
Overgrown garden, cute pup. 🌱🐶
Equal opportunity taste tester. If it fits in her mouth, it’s worth investigating.
Current size: Bruno. Future size: 5 x Bruno. Our 1898 is about to get a lot cozier!
First fam photo.
It’s 6am and you already made me wait longer than I’m used to: give me my food.
Mastering the stairs.
Perfectly content in the car.
Making herself at home.
Making friends anywhere she goes.
3 hours sleeping like this a few nights ago.
Desperately trying to jump up. Give her a few months…
The most playful.
Feeling out the leash. Could go either way.
Watching friends leave.
Heart. Melted.
Pure shock.
30 minutes in Bruno’s old bed until she started gnawing it…
