Let's just again say thank you!
We have been blown away by the support over needing to close for 24 hours! When we normally would have been open..... And we are so glad it wasn't any longer! Thank you for coming in on Sunday for brunch and today for Mexican Monday it was a pleasure to serve you all
We have struggled since April when we lost our kitchen help, and burned through so many people who just didn't wanna work! Its been a wild ride getting through the *season* (edit to add... summertime restaurant work is brutal... we know it's not for everyone and if you've never done it you can't even imagine what it's like) Sometimes when you forget to put your physical and mental health in line with all your other responsibilities.... issues arise that need to be addressed. For those with negative thoughts about us closing for 24 hours to address that... I humbly apologize for whatever part taking care of my family caused you disappointment/ inconvenience/or general negative thoughts about SBF, who we are, and what we do for our community. I also humbly ask you to give grace when have those feelings. YOU Never know what people are going through. Sometimes the ones that laugh and smile with you the most are the ones that are also hurting the most on the inside and they just choose not to share it with you until they absolutely break and need a reset. I promise to those of you who were let down by us taking a break... we will make it up to you! Send us a p.m. and lets chat!
