Jam On, Jim

If you’re like me and many other people in Shreveport-Bossier, Jim Malsch impacted you in one way or another. I have known Jim my entire life, as he was the bassist in a band with my dad and his wife, Bobbie Malsch became best friends with my mom. I later gained the privilege to create my own relationship with Jim by running one of his many endeavors, Red River Brewpub at the Garage.

I have yet to find the words to say about Jim, so I decided to paint instead. If you played music with Jim, you may know he played a To***co Sunburst Fender Precision Bass. I decided to put my own spin on it! Staying true to the design with the classic Fender “F” but continuing on to say “Malsch” instead.

I wanted to do something more and something positive with this piece, so I talked to Revision Marketing Group in Andress Artist & Entrepreneur Center and had them digitize my art.

I also have had Sign It Inc. create a website link to purchase t-shirts and wall prints!
