✨Regina Lynch and Destiny Calahan are the owners of Ecru Interiors & Design. Regina has been doing interior design for the past twenty years. Destiny joined her in 2010 to open their first retail location on the historic Magazine Street in uptown New Orleans. The two have been featured in Southern Living Magazine, Country French, Louisiana Life, New Orleans Magazine, and Houses with Charm by Susan Sully. They closed their New Orleans retail store in 2014 when Destiny moved west to San Antonio, but have kept their design business open along with a booth at our shop! Ecru is located upstairs in our front window booth.
The name “écru” refers to the French translation meaning “raw or unbleached, usually in reference to linen.” Their design philosophy embodies this aesthetic by focusing on the rawness of materials, aged patinas and neutral palettes.
In recent years, Regina has focused more on her art. Her mixed media canvasses follow her design philosophy by staying true to the neutral palette. ✨
