Update, word from the doc, he does cleaning and replacement only. Gotta wait 3 months for followup before he has a referal for tucson. Says he has to do the research to find out who to send me to….
Using chatgpt i had 4 candidates before i even left the parking lot… took a whopping 4 minutes. Explained the situation, explained what i was looking for and bang it was done. Gpt has been a great tool for me in so many aspects and situations.

As far as the shop goes. Im getting around albeit slowly and “nervously” so as not to retare this thing. Certain things i used to take for granted, i dont dare do now (like locking my knee)…. Awe hail naw! Or being in a hurry (thats how i tore it the first time).

FYI / update: I havent posted much or done much in the shop as I tore my meniscus back in september, didnt realize it was a tear until 6weeks later and had to wait post holidays for the appointment with the doctor / specialist.

Just gosta love them delays…🤨

Being at grandmas was always fun.
Afternoon coffee or tea on the deck was always nice. She had one of those acrilic topped tables with matching chairs having a coral/peach colored weave for seats and backs.
Once she passed, I ended up keeping that set.
Only the chairs are left,now, the coral weaving all aged and broken off.
So I decided to see about giving them new life. I’m gonna give a different look to each one, see what i like best. Then I’m gonna find that “just the right color” of coral peach, paint and distress. This is version one, still rough, but it feels good to sit in Grandma’s deck chair again after so many years.

I do custom and commission wood work.
If you have anything old, with sentimental value and would like keep it but breathe new life into it. Send me a message, maybe I can help you find a solution.

Made the wife cry…
Gramma GG loved cardinals. Pillow covers, towels, stained glass window hangers…
When GG died, it was rough on the wife.
She cried many times packing away cardinals.
This one was a glass Christmas orniment.
So I spruced it up with a little year round display shelf.
Of course, the wife cried when I hung it up on the wall.

I do custom woodwork and private commissions.
