President Trump and many in his administration are now facing the wrath of the more conspiracy theory-minded people whom they counted among their most ardent supporters, sparked by the Department of Justice and Trump’s own pleas for people to stop asking questions about Jeffery Epstein.

In a lengthy Truth Social post and the latest in a significant escalation, Trump called supporters "weaklings" for pushing the DOJ to release more files on Epstein.

This month, the Justice Department published a memo determining that there was no evidence of an “incriminating ‘client list,’” prompting renewed consternation in MAGA world.

Attorney General Pam Bondi in particular has faced criticism over her handling of the case. Asked in a February Fox News interview about a potential client list, Bondi said that “it’s sitting on my desk right now to review.” Last week, Bondi clarified she had been referring to a file related to Epstein.

Several Republican members of Congress and other prominent Trump supporters have pushed for more transparency over files related to Epstein.

President Trump lashed out at his own supporters for opposing his administration’s decision not to release more material from the investigation into disgraced financier and convicted s*x offender Jeffrey Epstein, accusing them of buying into a Democratic narrative.

“My PAST supporters have bought into this ‘bull—,’ hook, line, and sinker,” Trump wrote on Truth Social on Wednesday morning. The president added: “I don’t want their support anymore!”

The Justice Department said in a memo last week that there isn’t a “client list” of high profile people who participated in Epstein’s trafficking of young girls, and new files wouldn’t be released.

That angered some of Trump’s prominent supporters, who believe that global elites are ensnared in Epstein’s crimes and are being protected by the administration’s silence.

During the campaign, Trump said he would release additional details about Epstein.
