That’s how long Kim Mayer has worked at Hanson Signs. We have been so fortunate that Kim was here.

There is absolutely nothing he can’t build or fix. Today, 4/15/21, Kim retired to spend time with family and friends. And work on his Honey Do list! Congratulations, Kim!! We will miss you.

As we celebrate the festivities this time of year, we are reminded of what's really important to us: Family and Friends. Hanson Signs will be closed the week of 12/23 thru 12/27 to allow our wonderful crew to spend time with their loved ones. We remain very grateful for the amazing clients we are privileged to work with and look forward to another year working with you! Merry Christmas!

Well, we got power back late Friday. Then our wonderful IT People got our internet back online. So we are good to go! Thanks Dan at Kitsap Networking for your quick work. And to Chris from Bronco Electric for your timely advice on some of our electrical issues.

Now to play catch up!

Hey all, we have had power issues at the shop so if you tried calling, that's why we didn't answer. PSE is on it so hopefully we'll be back up and running on Friday 11/15. We are still receiving emails that we can monitor from home so feel free to email.

Thank you! Have an awesome Thursday!

It's getting darker earlier every day. Time to start checking your parking lot lights and exterior building signs. Are they lighting? Part out? Our super busy service time is coming up rapidly so if your lighting needs a little TLC, let us know!

Memorial Day is an American holiday, observed on the last Monday of May, honoring the men and women who died while serving in the U.S. military. Memorial Day 2023 will occur on Monday, May 29.

Originally known as Decoration Day, it originated in the years following the Civil War and became an official federal holiday in 1971. Many Americans observe Memorial Day by visiting cemeteries or memorials, holding family gatherings and participating in parades.

Please take a moment on Monday, May 29 2023 to honor our fallen veterans.

Happy Memorial Day from Hanson Signs!

A Sad Day at the Shop

In 2009 Randy got a golden retriever puppy he named Kona. Kona came to work every day with Randy. She was smart and happy with a bit of mischievous thrown in. I remember her playing in the ditch outside our shop and coming into the office covered in mud and so proud of herself! We laughed so much we didn’t mind cleaning the mess. Kona lived for the walks she and Randy would take after lunch, and going to Ocean Shores to play in the water.

As with all things, as time went by Kona got slower and slower. Getting up was a strain and walking just took a lot out of her. And then comes the day when she didn’t want to go for a walk at all. Then she could not walk or even stand up by herself. So today she’s going to go to a place where she can run and swim and chase bunnies all day.

Good dog, Kona. Good dog.
