Galaxy Draperies Serving Greater LA since 1976 ♥ Custom window coverings & awnings for residential & commercial. We've been serving the Greater Los Angeles area since 1976.

At Galaxy Draperies, we help you create your perfect, custom shades, blinds, draperies, shutters, or awnings for your home. In our complimentary in-home design consultation, you'll work side-by-side with our experienced Design Consultants to create your ideal style and choose how it operates! We make it fun and easy to design new window treatments or awnings for your home. We were founded by Muriel Baker, who had a poor experience with a custom drapery company and knew she could do better. She aimed to create a company that respects their clients and gives beautiful end results. Today we're a 3rd generation family-owned and operated business, continuing her legacy.

This woven shade adds soft texture and filtered light while complementing the rich wood tones throughout the space. A perfect example of how the right window treatment can feel like part of the architecture, not an afterthought.

Back to school, but make it a little cooler.

We recently completed this awning project at M.A.T.E.S., a local charter school, creating a more comfortable, shaded outdoor space for students throughout the school year.

We love seeing the right window and shade solutions make a difference beyond the home, especially for our local community.

Here’s to a great school year ahead!

From the warm wood accents and statement lighting to the patterned Roman shades framing the windows, we love how this space balances texture, contrast, and character. Window treatments really can be the finishing touch that pulls an entire room together.

Why let the afternoon sun send you back inside? ☀️

A retractable awning creates a cooler, more comfortable outdoor space with up to a 20°F temperature difference in the shade and protection from up to 98% of harmful UV rays.

More shade. More comfort. More time outside.
