🩶 To the people who want to shop small but just can’t right now I see you.
I know things are hard. I see it. I feel it. I’ve lived it. Small businesses are struggling but honestly, who isn’t right now? Life is expensive. Families are stretched thin. People are doing their best just to get through the week. And some of you walk through my doors because you want to shop small, but you can’t right now.
I know what it’s like to stand in a store and do the math in your head, hoping there’s enough left in the account. You don’t ever have to buy something to belong here. ❤️
Come in. Look around. Talk. Breathe. Take a minute away from everything heavy out there. That’s enough. 🫶
Shopping small isn’t just about buying things it’s about showing up for each other in whatever way we can. Sometimes that’s sharing a post. Sometimes it’s walking through the door and saying, “I’m just looking around”. Sometimes it’s even sharing a smile. It’s feeling seen.
I’ve gone without. I’ve counted change. I’ve worried about how to stretch $20 into a week of meals. I’ve cried wondering how we were going to make it. I’ve stood in line for food boxes praying things would turn around for us. So when I say I understand I really do. There’s no shame in struggling. There’s no shame in trying to survive.
This little shop isn’t just about sales. It’s about people. About connection. About heart. And somehow, even in the hard seasons, there’s still so much good left in this world. 🌎
I know I’m not the only one He’s been showing up for. God’s moving in ways we might not even see yet.
Thank you for believing in me and for helping me get this far. Let this be your reminder this isn’t forever. Better days are coming. 💛✝️
With a grateful heart,
Priscilla Kenowith
P.S. I made it to the next round of The BIG Challenge. And I’m so grateful. Because this wasn’t just me it was all of you. Every vote, every share, every kind word. You showed up for me. You always do. 🥹
