Their history is woven into the story of South Dakota. Their legacy continues to shape its future.

Years in the making and this one is finally happening! We celebrated the groundbreaking of Foss Fields yesterday. A big congrats to Ryan Tysdal, Tysdal Commercial, and the entire Foss family for having this vision and putting in the hours to bring it to reality.

The retail and commercial landscape of east Sioux Falls is going to look a whole lot different in the years ahead, and we're excited to be a part of it!

(And as an added bonus...Katie even got to hold a shovel!)

Happy World Architecture Day!

We draw walls. Move walls. Move them back. Add a door. Delete the door. Then somehow turn it all into a building.
Architecture is basically solving 1,000 little problems while making sure the final result looks like there were never any problems at all.
Add in a few redlines, a lot of coordination, questionable amounts of caffeine and you’ve got the job.

Cheers to the architects, engineers, contractors, clients and everyone else who helps bring the crazy ideas to life.

Washington Crossing’s new West Campus is taking shape, and this drone footage gives a pretty great look at the progress so far.

88 new apartment homes, new resident amenities, and a whole lot of exciting work happening on site. We’re proud to be part of the team bringing it all together!

says architecture has to be all business?
Designed by our team in 2014, the Carsforsale.com building at Lake Lorraine in Sioux Falls gave us the opportunity to create something that stands out from the crowd. The curved glass entry, precast concrete panels, curtainwall, storefront, and metal panels come together to create a distinctive exterior with plenty of architectural character.
And the inside? That’s where things get really interesting. A NASCAR sitting on a replica Talladega track greets you in the building entry, while a full-size ‘Stan’ the T. Rex fossil stands in the middle of the open office workspace.
The building also includes multiple golf simulators, a spiral slide, and a full-size auditorium, because why settle for a typical office building when you can create a workplace that’s anything but ordinary?
More than a decade later, it’s still a project that reminds us how much fun architecture can be.
