Welcome to the Living Door – interior design that brings out your unique style, without all of that dreadful nickeling and diming. “That is a GAME CHANGER!”

If you’ve worked with me, you’ve probably heard me say this!

It’s what comes out when I see something that makes the design better, solves a problem or gets me really excited.

And here’s the fun part about designing…

Sometimes the game changer wasn’t even in the original plan.

You’re standing in the space, looking at it differently, and suddenly—

GAME CHANGER.

Those are some of my favorite moments.

Game day looks a little better from home. Comfortable seating, good company, and a Vikings win—that’s my kind of Sunday!

SKOL! 💜

Something new is coming!!! 🙌🏼 Getting ready for Spring 2027!

What excites me most about this project is the preplanning and the details.

We started planning this property TWO YEARS before we will even start building. That may sound early to some, but this is exactly what sets a custom home up for success.

Plans, selections, space planning, details, budget, finishes and all the little things that need to be thought through BEFORE construction starts.

The goal? When we finally break ground, we’re not figuring it out as we go. We already have a plan and a team working toward the same vision.

The build process is only as successful as the planning that happens before it.

Trust the process. Trust the team. And plan, plan, PLAN! 😉

A transformation worth seeing. ✨

From dark and dated to bright, open, and completely reimagined. This remodel gave the home new life!

From the expanded kitchen and open living spaces to updated finishes and thoughtful details throughout, every change was made with both beauty and function in mind.

There’s nothing quite like seeing the vision come together.

A closer look at some of our favorite details from this kitchen. ✨

Rich cabinetry, light countertops, warm brass finishes, and statement lighting come together to give this space plenty of contrast while still feeling cohesive.

Behind every finished space are conversations, selections, samples, and plenty of decisions along the way. ✨

Working alongside my clients to create a home that feels completely their own is one of my favorite parts of the design process.

Small space. Bold choices. Bold pattern.

Doing what I love, right where the vision starts to come to life.

From the plans to the job site to the finished home — every stage is part of the process.

Side note: there’s almost always a caffeine-free Diet Mt. Dew in hand!
