Hi, my name is Jason, and I started DS Wood Foundry as an experiment to see if I could build something...well anything with the collection of tools I have amassed over the years. This is the first Chess board I built last year. I never fully finished it, but now it's nearly completed. The box to hold all the pieces is built, and the chess board will act as the lid. I still have some brass feet to install on the chess board and a couple hooks to hold it in place when it's being transported. Over all it is finally finished. Then it's on to my biggest project yet.
