Interior Designer (Advanced Revit & Visualization)
Lenae Design, LLC is an 11-year-old Sioux Falls, SD based boutique interior design practice serving a broad array of commercial clients, including corporate, retail, multi-family, hospitality, and others. We have an excellent opportunity for a design professional to be part of the continuing journey of inspiring clients and creating exceptional interior environments.
We are seeking a highly skilled Interior Designer with advanced technical proficiency in Revit and strong rendering and visualization capabilities. This individual will translate design concepts into clear, buildable documentation while producing compelling visual presentations that communicate design intent to clients and project teams.
The ideal candidate combines design creativity, technical expertise, and exceptional communication skills, and thrives in a collaborative, team-oriented studio environment.
Key Responsibilities
Design & Project Development
· Develop creative interior design solutions for commercial and/or residential projects from concept through construction documentation.
· Produce detailed Revit models, plans, elevations, and interior documentation.
· Participate in design charrettes and collaborate closely with architects, designers, and project managers.
· Assist in the development of material palettes, furniture selections, and finish specifications.
Visualization & Rendering
· Create high-quality renderings, visualizations, and presentation graphics that effectively communicate design intent.
· Develop client-ready presentations using rendering tools and graphic software.
· Translate conceptual ideas into compelling visual narratives for client review and decision-making.
Collaboration & Communication
· Work closely with internal design teams to ensure alignment across architecture and interior design disciplines.
· Participate in project meetings and contribute clearly and confidently to discussions with clients and consultants.
· Coordinate design documentation with architectural, engineering, and construction teams.
Documentation & Technical Excellence
· Maintain accurate Revit models and drawing sets throughout project phases.
· Ensure interior design documentation aligns with architectural drawings and project standards.
· Support construction administration activities including responding to RFIs and reviewing submittals.
Qualifications
Education
· Bachelor’s Degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, or related discipline.
Experience
· 5+ years of professional interior design experience (preferred but flexible based on skill level).
Technical Skills
· Advanced Revit proficiency
· Strong rendering and visualization skills
· Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign)
· Experience with furniture, materials, and finish specifications
· Working knowledge of applicable building codes and ADA regulations

· Excellent verbal and written communication
· Strong presentation and storytelling ability

· Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines

Preferred (but not required)
