Sometimes the hardest part of making a card isn’t choosing the stamps or paper—it’s deciding where everything goes!

That’s exactly why I love card sketches.

In today’s live, we’re creating this elegant “Thankful for You” card using the beautiful Moonlit Flora Suite from Stampin’ Up!® I’ll show you how a simple card sketch can take the guesswork out of designing, so you can spend more time enjoying the creative process.

Whether you’re just getting started or you’ve been making cards for years, sketches are one of my favorite ways to build confidence and create beautiful cards without feeling overwhelmed.

During today’s live you’ll learn:

How to use Card Sketch #85

Tips for combining Designer Series Paper with embossing

Easy layering techniques that add depth without adding difficulty

How one sketch can inspire dozens of different card designs

Ways to use this layout for birthdays, thank you cards, sympathy cards, and so much more

One of my favorite things about card sketches is that they’re meant to inspire—not limit—your creativity. Change the paper, sentiment, colors, or embellishments and you’ll have a completely different card using the very same layout.

 Build Your Own Sketch Library

If you’re enjoying this sketch, don’t let it get lost!

My Card Sketch Journal on Amazon is the perfect place to keep your favorite layouts, record measurements, note the products you used, and even add photos of your finished cards. Before long, you’ll have your own personal idea book ready whenever inspiration is running low.

I’d Love to Hear From You!
