Throwback to pre 2020 when Insta was about the pretty photos and collections. Anyone else miss the old IG? Remember the magpie Monday hashy? Yes, I am aware I sound like a grandma 👵🏻 but I really do “miss the good ole days”

Some colorful old eye candy captures, before the photo size changed, before reels, before the expectation to perform for the algorithms, when hashtags were a thing and brought community closer and when I had no clue what I was doing. I mean if we are being honest I still don’t 🤣

My Poppy collection always feels especially meaningful this time of year. ❤️ Poppies became the flower of remembrance after growing across war-torn fields following WWI. They are a symbol of hope, sacrifice, and honoring those we’ve lost.

I’m thankful for those that have served and fought for our country so we can enjoy our freedoms. Thank you will never be enough. ❤️

Truth be told I still found treasures! The iPhone flashlight coming in clutch!

I’ve gathered this collection of antique and vintage Americana pieces in the hope that each piece will continue to carry a memory of our fallen soldiers and we will never forget the sacrifices they made for our freedoms. ❤️

All the items you see here are available in my Etsy shop. The Link to shop is in profile and in stories.

Anyone Else? Does this delight you or scare the Sh*T out of you?! For me, It’s like a scavenger hunt. I know there’s a hidden treasure in here and the thrill of finding it makes me so dang excited!! Antiques and vintage aren’t always found in pretty curated spaces and sometimes we gotta dig and get dirty to get the goods! 🙃

I picked a few peonies from my flower garden. 🌸 I always feel like they come and go so fast. Did you know you can store cut peonies in the fridge? Cut them when they feel like a “firm marshmallow” (showing color but not fully open). Remove all leaves and wrap the stems and buds in dry newspaper/paper towels and seal them in plastic bags. Place them horizontally in the fridge for up to 3 months! Have you tried this? 🌸

I’ve started to add some of my vintage and antique finds from my Brimfield trip to my Etsy shop! These treasures and more are now available! The link to shop 🛍️ is in my profile and stories. I’ll be adding more soon too!

EASY PEASY summer decorating… No expensive store bought decorations. No complicated styling. Just some thrifted American flags 🇺🇸 added to your antiques equals instant Americana charm. Just drop in a flag and suddenly your whole house feels ready for the summer holidays. And if you want to take it a little further add a coordinating bow! 🎀

Memorial Day, Flag Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day simple, inexpensive, and honestly kind of charming every single time.

P.S. All these antiques are available in my etsy shop! (Link in profile and in stories to shop) 😉

I’m joining a few talented ladies to share our thrifted finds and how we’re styling them. Please head over to their feeds to see what they’re working on!
