Soft to the touch, built for the years. đď¸â¨
Selecting upholstery is one of the most critical steps in our "Tailored" design process. Itâs where the high-concept vision of a room meets the reality of daily life. At Stratton Design Group, we prioritize materials that offer Sustainable Luxury, meaning they are as durable as they are beautiful.
Whether we are specifying a high-performance linen for a busy family great room or a jewel-toned velvet for a private lounge, we look for three things:
1ď¸âŁ Hand-Feel: Does it provide the tactile comfort a sanctuary requires?
2ď¸âŁ Performance: Can it withstand sunlight, pets, and the "beautiful chaos" of life?
3ď¸âŁ Longevity: Will this material age gracefully or need replacing in three years?
In the Tailored Suit project, we utilized a mix of textures to create a space that felt layered and intentional. Swipe through to see our guide on choosing the right fabric for your next piece.
Which texture are you drawn to: The soft sheen of velvet or the organic weave of linen? Let us know in the comments! đ
