The weather is beginning to change and most schools are back in session. I hope all my followers had a great summer. I have still been working away on regalia projects in preparation for my daughters flower dance. In October I hope to get back to my other beading and business projects.
I may possibly squeeze in a booth at Dee-ni’ Day in Smith River Sept 12th so maybe I’ll see you there 😉

Recently finished this black GigiPip 100% Australian wool felt in size 57cm (22 1/4 - 22 3/8 or fitted 7). Slightly adjustable with Velcro strap in the sweatband. Beaded with size 11/0 miyuki rocaille glass seed beads. Removable hatband made with beargrass, pinenuts and old ‘real’ dentalium.

I also have this LA Dodgers hat available. It is labeled as a “youth” hat but has a velcro adjustable closure. Beads are miyuki rocaille size 11/0 in opaque white, navy, silverlined navy and galvanized silver. Price is $120. I am willing to deliver for free locally (between CC, Smith, Gasquet, Brookings). This vest has been on my mind for quite some time. I finally brought it to life. I think it’s important as artists to uplift and address issues impacting our communities. Missing and Murdered Indigenous People (MMIP) is a crisis across Indian Country - throughout North America. I want better outcomes for my daughter’s generation and those after.
The denim vest is a reclaimed and upcycled Levi jacket. Hand beaded with size 13/0 charlotte cuts. Embroidered patches and pin are from . I also painted the design on the back. This is my first fashion project outside of beaded hats. I have more ideas for the future. This vest will be available at CalPoly Humboldt Big Time. If it doesn’t sell there I will add to my Etsy store.
