FINALLY! :-)

Some photos of our booth at The Twisted Willow 119 South Third Street Smithfield NC!

Cabinets were a bit dark so we added some lights. Unfortunately, both of our blacklights decided to quit working, so.....need to order some more.

SOLD!

Restored Porcelain top table with extending leaves that slide out from under the top. 4 chairs professionally recovered in black and white marine vinyl with black piping around. Table fully restored. Chair frames and table legs repainted with black appliance epoxy and polyurethane.

Asking $800 for the set.

Table measures 30 3/4" tall x 39 3/34" wide x 25 1/4" deep (closed) and 45" deep with both leaves out. Features a cutlery drawer on the front. Chair seats are 18 1/2" high. I have $800 invested in the chairs, alone. New feet added to chairs that adjust to level/height. I am slightly negotiable on price but not by much as I am losing money at the listed price.

I will accept cash, Paypal or can issue a Square invoice. We do not accept Venmo.

Well...

We are all moved out of the Copper Mill in Kinston, NC. It wasn't the best situation/location for us. We gave it a shot but it just didn't work out in our favor.

On to the next chapter!

As many of you know who follow us, we brought alot of our (smalls) home and, mostly, operate online through our private glass collectors group, Mosser, Fenton And Vintage Collectibles. .

On to our next chapter!

We have begun setting up in a shop closer to home. We would like to announce that we have taken a space at The Twisted Willow 119 South Third Street Smithfield NC! We are excited to bring a small part of our business to The Twisted Willow! It is a very eclectic shop with tons of charm and appeal. Our items will bring "something different" and they are happy to have us and we are happy to be there.

We will post photos once we are set up. It will be a process as all of our items will need to be re-tagged with bar codes because they use a scanning system for checkout.

Stay tuned!!!!

Set of four chairs finished for the kitchen set I have been working on for......um........quite a few years. :-) Just need to add some feet to the chairs and finish the porcelain top table that matches. A little "dust" on the seats but that will be cleaned up. Reupholstered in Black & White Marine Vinyl by Iwona Nowakowski (By Xaxa) with black piping around the tops. The frames were chrome but almost void of chrome as it was peeling off. Repainted with gloss black Appliance Epoxy. No price until the table is finished.

JUST FINISHED!

Man....it feels good to be back in my workshop where I belong restoring furniture. I have missed it! Yes...my workshop is a disaster. :-)

After sitting in storage for 10 years, this 1950's cast iron patio set is almost ready to go. (Just need to add some rubber feet.) Completely sand blasted and repainted with auto paint, this thing is heavy and durable. The upholstery is finished off in two-tone green Marine Vinyl by Iwona Nowakowski (By Xaxa) to make it outlast the outdoors. On the table sits the original marble slab with green tones to match the chairs.

We will be asking $375 for the set.

Good evening all FVT Fans!

We have bad news and good news.

First the bad news: We had set up a booth at The Copper Mill in Kinston, NC during the time we were in the process of closing our store of almost 10 years. We had thought this would be a good move for us, but, it turns out that this location just isn't the right fit for us. The overall aesthetics of the store are not where we fit in, unfortunately. We have begun the process of closing out and clearing out our booth and will be completely out by the end of February. This isn't a bad thing, honestly. It just wasn't the best move for us.

Now, the good news! We have been in discussion with John & Terri at The Twisted Willow 119 South Third Street Smithfield NC to bring some of our items to their shop! Will it be "all glass"? No. Most of our glass has been offered through our Glass Collectors Group, Mosser, Fenton & Vintage Collectibles for a few years and we will continue to do that. We have quite a few items that, we feel, will be better suited for their shop and their customers. There will be a few items of our glass that will be offered, as well. We are working on a space in their shop and will be moving in, soon!

Also, for those who are familiar with WhatNot, we have started selling on this platform, as well. You can find us under FVTGLASSMAFIA. We are on at 3pm eastern time every Sunday afternoon.

Good afternoon FVT Fans.

Sorry, it has been awhile since we have updated anyone on our daily things. We have been extremely busy.

Since we closed the store in October, we have done a few things and one was setting up a booth in another vendor mall. Sadly, things didn't quite work out the way we wanted them to and we are closing out our booth and bringing most of our small items home. We will be closing the booth out, entirely, by the end of February.

With that said, most of our business is and has been online for quite some time. We have a private group on Facebook that many of you are already part of. We focus, mainly, on collectible vintage and new glass. Fenton, Mosser, Westmoreland, Viking, Boyd, Degenhart, Northwood and various others including a large Vaseline Glass collection we have been working through for almost two years, now, some dating back to the 1800's. That group is "Mosser. Fenton and Vintage Collectibles". Please look us up and join, if you would like. We do live sales, there, as well as offering up new glass we may get and offer to the group members, first.

Second, we have decided to dive into the world of WhatNot. If you do not know that this is, it is an online selling platform for live sales and an "online shop". You may find us under "FVTGLASSMAFIA". We have our "shop" stocked full of items and we do live sales, there, as well.

Sadly, the days of having a brick and mortar business have become days of the past. Since 2020, we have seen a serious decline in walk in traffic and huge increase in online sales and the reason we decided to go in this direction. We operate out of our home located in Clayton, NC. We have looked into a booth with another shop closer to home (the other was over an hour drive) and with some friends who own the shop. Stay tuned for that.

Howdy all FVT fans!

Sorry it's been awhile, but, Lisa has been battling bronchitis which turned into pneumonia which turned into an almost week long hospital stay. She is home and doing better. Thank you for all of the personal well wishing messages and prayers.

We are putting a post up to see if anyone might have a lead on some other local shops that rent space that would fit in with what we offer. Our mainstay has been vintage and decorative glass for quite some time and we need a location that would draw the clientele we need for our merchandise. As most of you know, our prices have always been reasonable on everything we offer.

Good morning all FVT Fans!

Just a friendly reminder:

We have closed our store front in Selma and have moved part of our business home and have set a booth up in Kinston, NC at the Copper Mill Mercantile Kinston. If you see photos posted, these are all in our booth at The Copper Mill and not accessible right away. If you ask questions about items, we will do our best to answer your questions from our inventory sheets on pricing. Unlike having our store to quickly answer questions on pricing and availability, we do not have that option with having a booth about an hour away from our home.

We do have an online business for glass and other collectibles and that is Mosser, Fenton and Vintage Collectibles. This is a private group and you must request to join, answer membership questions and agree to group rules to join. We put these in place to protect our members. https://www.facebook.com/groups/mosserfentonandvintageglassfromfvt/?ref=share&mibextid=NSMWBT is the link. We do live sales and offer first dibs on new items before they are put in our public inventory. Yes, we do ship and are experienced packers/shippers and will ship worldwide. We use two forms of payment: Square (preferred) and Paypal Goods & Services (by request only). We use Pirateship for our shipping quotes using USPS (Ground Advantage or Priority) or UPS Ground. We do not give estimated shipping costs due box size, weight and destination. We do accurate shipping costs and not estimates due to too many variables involved.
