This wreath left my possession with just the red bow. The little ornaments were added by Amy Jean Winter of Seeds 'N Stone Natural Therapeutic Products & Bath Workshop. 💗

🎄 I have always desired to change my decor with the seasons/holidays. I have it all boxed away and appropriately labeled but our home is always being updated or repaired thus everything is in constant rotation from one room to the next; and my decor becomes hidden and forgotten.

🎄 My home is eclectically decorated with things I love to look at; petrified wood, my daughter’s artwork, Christmas cards, mason jars filled with things, birdies, fun antique finds, rugs and family pictures. And there really is no organization to it but it feels warm and inviting like Grandma’s house.

🎄 I have been feeling festive and decided to add a little cheer to a few containers I had lingering about with wreath picks that I haven’t had a quality visions for. I couldn’t be more delighted with the outcome 😊

🦊 I do have to note that in taking pictures of my little creations, I realized how gross my fridge was, how dusty my microwave was and how awful the tops of my cupboards were 😬 I suppose that is one way to highlight neglected areas 😆 The pictures are the clean version of each space.

‘Jingle & Twine’

🦊 This wreath pays homage to the Burl Ives song ‘Silver & Gold’ that was first released in 1964 on the claymation feature Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer.

🦊 Jingle bells are a staple during the holidays. The sound alone brings visions of reindeer, horses pulling sleighs and Christmas memories unique to each and every one of us.

🦊 The twine embodies the rustic lifestyle and the barbed wire it is wrapped around is embedded with stories and history that we may never know.

🦊 It was photographically tricky to capture the hint of ‘silver’ in this beauty but the twine is sprinkled with sparkle dust ❤️

Whew!!! It has been a hot minute since I have shared, well, anything!!!

Let me go ahead and fix that ☺️

Rusitc barbed wire stars are my business but did you know that I also make ‘frosty’ barbed wire stars? Chances are good that you didn’t because the wire I use is fairly scarce to come by so not many have been created which is why I haven’t shared them. Let me tell you about them!

Frosty stars are still made with antique barbed wire but they have a natural white glaze. The water in the canyon is highly alkaline and causes mineral buildup on surfaces over time. Any of the fencelines within the path of the wheel lines have gotten their share of spritzing over the years causing mineral buildup on the barbed wire.

I have been instructed to leave functional fences alone 😆 which is why I have been unable to create large quantities of my frosty stars.

However, we had to deconstruct a fence to build a better one so stay tuned for mass production!!

‘The Sound of Music’

A warm mountain breeze gently whisks through the meadow grasses inviting the resident wildflowers to cheerfully wave; to which they energetically accept. In the distance, the crisp mountains are standing majestically absorbing the whooshing wind, the call of the wild and all of the natural world that surrounds it. Every sense that belongs to our bodies awakens as we experience Nature’s Sound of Music.

🌟 This wreath was inspired by the meadow scene in the 1965 film The Sound of Music starring Julie Andrews 🌟

‘Spring Meadow’

The winter season often leaves the landscape various degrees of drab and mundane. While the beginnings of Spring may not show additional promises there is a sudden, but subtle, shift in nature that allows the landscape to quietly, and softly, come to life. The wildflowers slowly unfold their sleepy blooms under the warm rays of sun, the forage gradually shifts from dull to vibrant and the wildlife begin to sing and scuttle about more frequently and in greater numbers. At first glance, the landscape is nothing more than a reminder of the harshness of the winter season; but a thoughtful moment will show just how hardy and resilient the natural world can be.

🦊 Ever wonder what my Creation Station looks like?

🌟 Well here it is!! 🌟

The wreath making happens here while the rest of my Clever Creations take place in the living room (much to my families dismay at times 😬).

🦊 Make no mistake, this space is usually an explosion of possibilities but has recently been tidied for sanity purposes; making it the perfect opportunity to showcase the Creation Station!

🦊 The wall unit was constructed using the subfloor from our old breezeway. I am terribly thankful to have a handy husband that can breathe life into my vague instructions 😆

🦊 The dresser below houses all the ribbon and wreath accents (and the secret stash of yarn we don’t talk about 😳😆).
