This porch had one major problem before we ever laid a tile—the existing slope was sending rainwater and residual moisture toward the house and front door instead of away from it.
We corrected the problem from the ground up:
✅ Removed the problem areas and established a proper outward slope
✅ Mixed and installed 40 bags of concrete/mud mixed with bonding additives instead of water to build the new pitch
✅ Properly directed water away from the house and entryway
✅ Installed the new tile in a clean running-bond pattern
✅ Finished with a completely transformed, functional porch
