On the eve of our last day at Gifted Blessings in Solon… my heart is so full. ❤️
Thank you.
Those two words don’t seem big enough for everything this journey has meant to me. Every conversation, every hug, every customer who became a friend, every person who walked through our doors and chose to support a dream—you have been a part of this story.
To the people who stood beside me every step of the way…
Brandi, Lori, Vicki, Jackie, Presley, Sarah, Kori, Al, Tenneil, Michele, and Lyndsee—I don’t even know how to begin thanking you. Whether you worked in the store or simply walked beside me through this journey, you’ve been so much more than a team. You celebrated the victories, carried me through the hard days, made me laugh when I needed it most, and loved this dream right alongside me.
Somewhere along the way, you stopped being coworkers and friends… you became family.
Gifted Blessings would never have been what it was without each of you. If I’ve forgotten anyone, please forgive me. There have been so many people who have poured into this dream, and my heart is grateful for every one of you.
To my girls, Elynn and Harper… thank you for sharing your mama with this dream. You’ve sacrificed more than anyone will ever know, and your love and support have sustained me through every season. You have always been, and always will be, my why.
And to my husband, Nick… thank you for believing in me. Even when you couldn’t quite see the vision or understand where it was leading, you never stopped supporting me. You believed in me when all I had was a dream, and that has meant more than you’ll ever know.
To my parents… thank you for believing in me, encouraging me, and always reminding me that dreams are worth pursuing. Your love, your support, and your example have been a foundation I have leaned on more times than you know.
And to my Grandma Ortberg… at 98 years old, you continue to inspire me every single day. Your faith, your strength, your resilience, and the way you’ve lived your life have shaped the woman I am today. Thank you for showing me what perseverance, grace, and a life well lived truly look like. I love you more than words can say.
I’ve loved this chapter. Every page. Every single day.
Looking back now, I can see that this story has been written exactly as it was meant to be from the very beginning. God has always been the Author. I’ve finally learned to loosen my grip on the pen and trust the One who has been writing my story all along.
Tomorrow the doors will close, but the story isn’t over. This chapter simply comes to an end, and I can’t wait to see what God writes next.
