Since the day Gifted Blessings opened its doors on October 1, 2022, I have felt, deep in my bones, that this place was something special. Different. Set apart.
So many little things have happened within these walls. Tiny signs, quiet moments that whisper: This is necessary work. This is heart work. Owning and running a small business is not easy,!it stretches you, challenges you, humbles you. But what has sustained me are the people who walk through these doors and say things like, “I feel at home here.”
And honestly, that’s the best way I can describe it too.
Over the years, I’ve witnessed moments I can’t quite explain. Conversations that happened at just the right time. People finding exactly what they needed. Strangers becoming friends. Tears shared. Laughter echoing through these walls. Encouragement offered when it was needed most. Little miracles that seem to happen at Gifted Blessings more often than some would believe.
That’s what has kept pulling me back when things get hard. The only way I know how to describe it is that I have felt called to continue this work. Like God placed this little store and these moments in my path for a reason. Maybe Gifted Blessings was never meant to be just a store.
But lately, I’ve realized that the same pull that has kept me here is also pulling me home.
It’s pulling me to slow down and be more present. To soak in these moments with my girls while they’re still under my roof. Time has a way of quietly slipping through our fingers, and I don’t want to miss this season while I’m busy preparing for the next one.
It’s pulling me toward family. Toward church. Toward the people and places that refill my soul.
So, after much prayer and reflection, I’ve made the difficult decision to press pause on this dream in its current form. I will continue Gifted Blessings at Kroul Farm, but I’m stepping away from the storefront to embrace this season of being present with the people I love most.
This isn’t goodbye to Gifted Blessings. It’s simply a change of pace. A reminder that sometimes faith means trusting that what God asks us to lay down for a season is not lost—it is simply being held while we tend to what matters most.
Thank you for every purchase, every hug, every story, every prayer, every kind word, and every person who walked through those doors and made that little space feel like home.
Gifted Blessings has always been more than a store to me.
It has been a ministry, a blessing, and one of the greatest honors of my life.
And so have all of you. 🖤
As we begin this transition, our sales will start this weekend. Brands and items that I don’t plan to carry at Kroul Farm will be discounted, so if you’ve had your eye on something, now is the time.
We don’t have a firm closing date in place just yet. We’ll continue to add items and welcome you through our doors as this chapter winds down, so there will still be opportunities to shop, visit, and soak in the space we’ve all come to love.
