I got some new glass from Fremont Antique Glass. I was trying to make a video cause the color transition is incredible and Liam was less than impressed with my skills. So he insisted that he make the video.

All done 👏🏻👏🏻 unfortunately I didn’t get it done in time to drive it to the state fair. 😔 That sucks, cause it turned out really well, and it’s all Kentucky-ish, I wanted people to see it!!
But it’s ok, maybe next year. It’s hard to work on glass, in addition to work work, kids who have to eat all the time 😂, a home, a baby..and sleep—whatever that is.

I’m super happy with it though, it looks great! We got Lake Cumberland in the background; a Cardinal (state bird); a Goldenrod (state flower); a bourbon barrel & bottle for Ky Bourbon; and a banjo for the Bluegrass State 😉

It is 4:30 in the am and I just got the back side of my piece soldered. .. so now, sleep, the other side first thing in the morning, clean, patina, and drive to Louisville with it! 🤞!! Putting it in the state fair for fun 🤩

—I finally figured out how to make my lines work with the Cricut. The lines for solder in this piece were way too big on my pattern so I had to make a lot of adjustments, I could’ve had a lot more uniform lines if I’d fixed the pattern. But I’m impatient and sometimes organic lines work. Nature isn’t full of perfect, uniform lines so 🤷🏻‍♀️😂 —

I couldn’t help myself!! I went all out on and got , some new Quick-Fit bits, and 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

I researched and watched videos of people using The Grinder (of some model) and couldn’t get over how quick and smooth their grinding was going…so I did an AI chat and apparently this is a whole new world from my old Inland Grinder (although it’s still a good grinder).

I’ve been waiting to work on my project till this thing got here! Woo hoo
