Please welcome our February Artist of the Month, Loretta Loy-Adair. Coming from a family of artists, Loretta has been painting with oils for decades. Another month has come and gone. For October Artist of the Month we have Julianne Kirgis. Currently focusing on portraits, Julie is proof to never stop trying. Experiment, change, there’s no such thing as “too late to get into art”. There’s something for everyone, even if you have to invent something new yourself. Julie’s current portraits blend the tension between the realistic/rational and the creative/ emotional using both monochrome grisaille and layers of colorful abstract.
