SDL Residential Design I'm a British, BA (Hons) Architecture graduate with a background in architectural practice and real estate, now living in Glen Ellen, California.

SDL Residential Design provides clients with full design services taking your project from concept to completion, including dimensional surveys, concepting, permitting, design selections, contractor selections, and more for new builds or remodels. I've been focused on residential design since 2013, working with clients on a variety of projects, from simple staircase handrails, to kitchen / bathroo

m remodels, and full residences / guest houses. I pride myself on working closely with my clients from the beginning until after the project is completed, providing as much knowledge, opinion, coordination and handholding as needed. I’m glad that I am able to call all of my clients my friends. Behind me is a large network of professionals who are ready to support my clients in our project ventures, so please get in touch so we can put them to work for you. Our travels to Japan have been a treasure trove of inspiration! A standout so far has been the amazing Takenaka Carpentry Museum in Kobe. The design & creative use of materials of the museum (such as using sawdust concrete) brings a lot of ideas 🤔. We also loved this display showing off different traditional framing techniques without the use of nails. Looking forward to what's next!

Another before and after transformation! This home entryway had a confusing flow and dated look, cutting off guests from the kitchen.
