We're excited to see everyone tomorrow for another fun-filled afternoon of coin collecting and learning!

This month's theme is NICKELS! 🦬

We'll be learning about Buffalo Nickels, exploring coin history, completing hands-on activities, and holding our exciting Design Your Own Nickel Contest! 🎨🏆

⭐ ART SUPPLIES ⭐

We will have a limited amount of art supplies available for participants. However, if your child has favorite markers, colored pencils, crayons, gel pens, or any special art supplies they enjoy using, please feel free to bring them along for our coin design project and contest!

We can't wait to see all the amazing and creative designs the kids come up with.

We'll also have free coins, educational activities, and plenty of fun for collectors of all experience levels.

Whether your child is brand new to coin collecting or already has a growing collection, everyone is welcome!

Bring your coins for show and tell, bring your creativity, and bring a friend!

A huge thank you to everyone helping make Stateline Youth Coin Club what it’s becoming.

I stopped by Northern Illinois Coin Supply today to get ready for our summer meetings, and it really hit me how many people have stepped up behind the scenes to help these kids.

Thanks to L & B Coins, we now have coin folders for pennies, nickels, and dimes for the club members. Northern Illinois Coin Supply also donated Statehood Quarter maps for the kids to fill.

A few years ago, Aaron Wentz donated a large group of BU Statehood Quarters when we taught a coin class in Orangeville. We tucked the extras away for future programs, and now they’re finally getting put to good use with the youth club.

That’s really what this is all about. Little by little, meeting by meeting, we’re introducing kids to a hobby that teaches patience, history, problem solving, and curiosity.

These kids are already showing up excited to talk about coins, asking questions, filling folders, trading with each other, and actually paying attention to the jobby in a way most classrooms can’t recreate. That’s pretty cool to see.

Honestly… I thought it was pretty awesome seeing our little club described that way, so I had to share it. It’s wild to see something we started for local kids growing into a real community project people recognize.

The support we’ve received has been incredible. Every folder, coin, map, and donation helps us give kids something hands-on and meaningful to get excited about.

Right now, our biggest immediate needs are nickels and dimes for upcoming summer meetings, but honestly, anything helps. We use donations for educational activities, starter collections, coin folders, giveaways, and supplies for the kids.

🚨 BIG NEWS FROM THE Stateline Youth Coin Club! 🚨

What started as a small youth coin club has quickly turned into something much bigger than we ever imagined. The support from families, collectors, dealers, and our community has been absolutely incredible.

Because of the growing attendance, we have officially MOVED our meetings to the Beloit Library! 🎉🪙

TODAY IS THE OFFICIAL LAUNCH OF STATEline YOUTH COIN CLUB! 🎉🪙

Today marks the beginning of something bigger than a coin club.

It is the start of a new generation of young collectors, historians, and future leaders in the hobby.

We are honored to welcome our founding members and their families to Day One of something that has already proven to be truly special.
