We're Retiring! Founded way back in 1982, Under the Double Eagle Antiques is closing up shop. To help us liquidate our inventory, we're having a sale. New to our booth at Council Oak Antiques of South Bend, IN is this wonderful Singer Sewing Machine with its original cabinet and drawers. The serial number on the machine dates it to 1913-1915. The machine comes with a number of accessories, including the belt for the treadle. While the mechanism rotates freely, it is not known if the machine is in operating condition. The cabinet is in very good condition and has been refinished. Reasonably priced and available today.

American Brilliant Period Cut Glass. I've always appreciated the precision and craftmanship that went into these beautiful pieces. Pictured here is a heavily cut shallow bowl by Hawkes; the photo does not come close to doing it justice, it needs to be seen (and held) to be fully appreciated. This piece, along with a number of other signed and unsigned cut glass pieces can be found in our booth (UDE) at Council Oak Antiques of South Bend, IN.

Another great find! Here's a Victorian play set, in its original box. The set consists of four sheep, a shepherd, dog, and two fence sections, all in wonderful condition for their age. The circus is in town! One of the finest toys of the early 20th century was Schoenhut's Humpty Dumpty Circus. We are fortunate to have acquired a number of pieces, including more clowns than are actually pictured below and numerous accessories, including a ring (seen in blue with stars), barrels, chairs, and much more! Here's another addition to our stash at Council Oak Antiques in South Bend, IN. A Hitchcock rocker, bit on the small side, in its original finish. As our booth (UDE) is currently well stocked with goodies (check out the ABP signed cut glass pieces!) this rocker is in Council Oak's consignment area, along with the oak rocker and table which we previously posted.
