The Walmart Model Kit Pallet Program continues! Starting in September, we will see Walmart stores stocking more AMT, MPC, and Polar Lights model kits. Expect to find some favorites, as well as five new releases!

One of those AMT releases brings the ’63 Ford Galaxie to a Walmart near you. And honestly, it’s hard to beat the look of a full-size Ford from this era. Long, low, and loaded with early-60s character, with its bold proportions and unmistakable styling, this classic Ford gets a chance to shine all over again in scale!

The ’63 Galaxie was part of Ford’s big push into the full-size car market, offering everything from comfortable family cruisers to cars with a little more performance under the hood. This next AMT release brings the ’65 Chevelle “Surf Wagon” to a Walmart near you, and this one is ready to hang ten! Long roof, plenty of room, and just the right amount of ’60s attitude, this Chevelle is a righteous ride for hauling boards, gear, and good vibes wherever the road takes you!

The ’65 Chevelle was part of Chevy’s growing lineup of midsize cars, mixing everyday practicality with the style and performance that made the era so cool. The wagon took that formula and ran with it, giving drivers plenty of room for the crew and all their gear. Back in the day, this was the kind of ride you could load up and cruise until you found the perfect break.

Our first look at the new releases includes an updated classic. The AMT 1967 Chevy Impala SS includes new box-art to match the Impala’s big body and big attitude! Featuring an all-new illustration by artist Sean Svendsen this new packaging gives a much-needed refresh to a perennial best-selling kit!
 
It’s no mystery why this kit is a fan favorite. The ‘67 Chevy Impala SS was built for an era when bigger meant better. With the Impala’s long, clean lines and unmistakable late-60s presence, this classy cruiser looks great in any scale!
