Both my sister, Melanie Lamar and I have two paintings in the Hills gallery at NAA, as part of the group show from Abstract Artists Group of New England, a featured interest group of NAA. Newburyport Art Association

Work In Progress, just to give an idea of the process I use. This is not a finished piece….but it will be. I’m waiting on some gold leaf paint to be delivered. This will be called Tesoro Mia, (my treasure) as this is what our grandmother called us girls. Her two fellow, red paintings are called Grace Notes 1&2. I’m hoping to get all three into a show coming up soon, based on the theme of Red!! 🙏

Today, I’m working on two pieces. Something new, with a base of reds, acrylic on wood panel. And this square one I keep adding colors and shapes to…not sure where it is going. Acrylic on canvas. I’ve got two other wood panels all gessoed up! Trying to hold true to my promise to myself, that I’d do something with painting, drawing, or art journaling each day, here in my new home. I’m blessing it!! (Buying supplies doesn’t count!)
