If you’re indeed coming to our Global Treasure Hunt tomorrow, why not take in a lovely classical concert at the historic Woodstock Opera House afterwards? About 50 tickets remain, so we decided to offer them to any Treasure Hunt attendees who’d like to roll on over to Woodstock at 3:00 ( its 25 minutes From Richmond to Woodstock and we’ve printed maps for anyone who’d like one)! So once you check in at Ginger’s, let the desk know you’d like the Mozart tickets and how many, and “you’re in like flint.” 😁 So
1. Have some of Alan Sills’s tasty globally-inspired grub (he’s making it all from scratch right now, as I’m posting this),
2. Stroll Ginger’s lovely grounds, buy some organic veggies from Ginger’s brother, Gary, (cash only for the veggies), then,
3. Head over to Woodstock afterwards for the concert, to start at 3 PM, featuring Susan Tan at the piano, playing Mozart’s “Coronation” Concerto. She’s a truly amazing pianist!
- you might want to bring a change of clothes for the concert. Casual is fine, but ourselves are not wanting to go to the concert with a layer of dirt. It is a farm, after all!

Now THAT’s a fun day in the country!
Our thanks go to the Woodstock Public Schools students, teachers and everyone who made the program and concerts possible. Eight orchestras, four concerts, 328 students and two fun weeks!
