Good chilly Sunday morning! Lots of frost on the pumpkins for sure!
Posting a tad later this AM, as I have already been in my workshop! I was going to quickly unpack some new supplies, but then I got to painting some new little snowmen!
We had a very productive day in the shoppe yesterday, first getting the back porch rearranged a bit before opening, and then i continued to add new holiday items throughout the day! i will do the same today....once the woodstove gets the shoppe toasty warm! We welcomed everyone in with a "Hi and welcome!" and a hot warm and spicy drink, perfect for a cold Fall day.
Same for today....Brrrrrrrrrrr!!!!!!!!!!!!
More holiday treasures are making their way into the shoppe every day. New timer pillar candles, Santas, snowmen, vintage inspired ornaments, sparkly and glittery decor [of course as i am the Queen of Glitter!}, so many new florals and garlands, large wreaths that look so real, and more....time to take over another section this coming week!
Today we will take turns being in the shoppe. I hope to finish up some of the new snowmen in my workshop, and start other projects and i know Wayne will be doing the same. So many ideas!!
The really cold weather over night means the garden is finally coming to a close for another year. the only think I have left to do is plant my garlic patch this week. Wayne will also be harvesting the last of the winter crops, and we should be good for the winter. I will help with a little cleanup in my raised beds, pulling out the last of the zinnia patch that gave us beautiful bouquets all summer long. Our garden was so good to us this past season, one of the best in the last few years. The weather seemed more balanced with heat and rain which in turn, is giving us a spectacular Fall!
I am off to get ready for the day....workshop first and then back into the shoppe to do more unpacking
Have a great day....we open at 11 AM and we will be ready to welcome you in!
