Happy New Year. Let’s go!! 💪🏼
It’s not lost on me that I’m lucky to be able to do what I love. That I am great at what I do. That I work with and for amazing people, several whom have turned into friends.
I spent the last few years “trying to get out”, move on to something less physically demanding, less stressful. But that is never easy. Last year, other life matters urged me to focus more on gratitude and I have renewed my love of my work, my painting. I am grateful for the skills I have to provide for my 4 kids. Single handedly !!💪🏼 💥 I am grateful for the jobs that keep coming in. I am grateful for those friends and past clients who keep recommending me with the highest of reviews. Thank you for that. 🙏🏻 I am grateful that I can set my own schedule, be my own boss, claim validation for my own work and call all the shots. It’s a double edged sword some days but I’m grateful that it’s mine to carry. 🗡

This is one of my favorite makeovers yet. Gold oak kitchen and 2 vanities. Went bright white with new black matte hardware. Looks even better in person. And took the grey walls to Dover White. The entire apartment is so much brighter and Happier. Flooring goes in next week and it’s complete. I love what I do. 😊

It’s International Women’s day and the timing is perfect for this post. I have to give a shout out to the amazingly gorgeous work of This talented woman makes hand made pottery including this gorgeous cauldron mug. I opened it this morning and I am still sipping my coffee as I post this. Look at these incredible details 🤩 I pre ordered months ago and it was absolutely worth the wait. It is a work of art. Not only that, but all the extra love and gratitude she puts into the box it is shipped in. This is 5 star service and product. Please look her up, give her a like and even order something. Makeover Monday!
I love it when a client says- “I should have done this sooner!” 😍🤩😍
Getting rid of that gold oak makes such a difference!
Colors- chantilly lace on Uppers. Dorian Gray on lowers.
Next up is her new appliances, counters, hardware and backsplash. Can’t wait to see the grand finale! 🙌

Renovating railings is kinda like Thanksgiving. But instead of cooking for 3 days and eating in 10 minutes, it’s 80 hours of masking and 2 hours of painting 😜. Ok fine, not 80 hours but it almost felt like it.
